Oseph Chapel
Character training is a core element to our educational model at Wylie Prep in the preparation of our students for college, family life, and their specific vocational callings in the world as they pursue the primary call to follow Christ. Our teachers integrate character training throughout our courses; however we feel the need to have some formal time set aside for it as well. Therefore, as chapel/devotion time has been established for our students called, Oseph, which is Hebrew for The Gathering. Although there are several other Hebrew words used throughout the Old Testament that mean to gather, this term is used in relation to the gathering of a crop for harvest. Our times together are geared toward this purpose:

To gather a crop of Gods children together and prepare them for lives that are a fruitful harvest, for Christ and His Kingdom, by growing in obedience to God and in the likeness of Christs character.
