Wylie Preparatory Academy opened for its first day of classes in the fall of 2001 with 1st through 6th grades.  We have grown to currently serve 1st through 12th grades.

In Spring 2004, WPA went through the National Association of University Model Schools (NAUMS) certification process.

In July of 2004, WPA was recognized by the National Association of University Model Schools (NAUMS) as a Certified, Charter School.
