Tuition & Fees Information (2011)
Tuition costs will vary based on the course load chosen for each individual student. All fees listed are annual (unless noted).

Admissions Fees
Application Fee (new students only): $100
Registration Fee (per student): $315
Building Fee (per student): $600 ($900 max per family)
Late Registration fee (if registering after June 30th): $200

Elementary Tuition
Kindergarten Block: $2160
Kindergarten Extended Day: $1180
1st & 2nd Language Arts: $1440
1st & 2nd Math: $720
1st & 2nd Social Studies/Science: $720
3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Core Courses: $815 per course

Junior High Tuition
7th & 8th Core Courses: $885 per course

High School Tuition
9th-12th Core Courses: $925 per course
9th-12th One Semester Courses: $175 - $325 per course

Elective Courses (optional)
Elective Courses all grade levels: $460 per course
Study Hall: $300 per class

Multiple Student Discount
2nd Student: 10% discount on tuition
3rd and additional students: 15% discount on tuition

  • Athletic Fees are charged per sport, per year.
  • There will be a $100 non-refundable fee per sport in the case of withdrawal from the sport. This fee is part of the total cost of each sport.
  • The multi-student discount will apply.
  • Fee covers an off-season practice time (mandatory for football, volleyball, and basketball programs).
  • Fee covers the practice uniform.
  • Fee covers the use of a game uniform.
  • Fee covers some of the equipment required.
  • Fee covers league scheduled tournament fees.
  • Cheerleader Exceptions: Cheerleading covers both football and basketball seasons. Uniforms are costed seperately from athletic fees. Off-season practice does not apply to cheerleaders.
  • Athletic Fees may be paid monthly along with regular tuition payments
  • Up to the season start date, an athlete may withdraw from the team for any reason. Students will receive a refund of any money paid less the non-refundable $100 portion.
  • During the first two weeks after the season start date, an athlete may withdraw from the team and receive a refund 50% of any money paid less the $100 non-refundable portion.
  • From two weeks after the season start date, an athlete may withdraw from the team but receives no refund with the exception of cases involving injury.
  • No refunds will be given to students temporarily barred from participation due to academic or disciplinary problems.
  • Any athlete failing a team tryout will be refunded fully (including $100 non-refundable fee) less a $25 processing fee.

Payments
All fees and tuition are due at the time of registration. A 3% discount is available for tuition paid in full. As a courtesy, Wylie Preparatory Academy offers a tuition payment plan to be paid the in months of April through March. Monthly tuition payments are due on the first of each month and considered late after the 10th.

Finanacial Aid
Wylie Preparatory Academy has partnered with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to help our school analyze and award financial assistance for a familys school tuition bill. If your family is interested in applying, please keep in mind that the full application and admissions process must be completed prior to applying for financial aid. No financial aid information will be provided prior to this step. Should you have any questions regarding Wylie Prep's financial aid program, you may contact the financial director at kshaw@wylieprep.com. Because of confidentiality, neither the front office nor other staff members will be prepared to answer your questions.
